ATVAM/SAHER

Erada Implemented the ATVAM “SAHER” project for MOI-Traffic Department in the KSA central region. Erada integrated several Traffic Management and Intelligent Transportation systems into one platform, these systems were deploying at remote field locations. The information from these remote field locations were transmitted via a telecommunications infrastructure to Command and Control Centers (CCC) and Violation Processing Centers (VPC) for processing. The CCC and VPC are built and equipped, as part of Erada contract, up to the Industry Standards.

About the system

It is an automated traffic control and management system which covers major cities in Saudi Arabia, and uses digital cameras network linked with the National Information Center of Ministry of Interior. Erada runs the ATVAM in the central region in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Automatic Traffic Violation Administering and Monitoring project (ATVAM/SAHER) in partnership with the Ministry of Interior is a local reference for success stories of PPP.

SAHER consists of two parts:

The Traffic law enforcement part, on Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis.

Safety and security part, on Build, Transfer and Maintain (BTM) basis.
